Use-case value
Start with a specific operating problem, the people affected, the current process, and a measurable outcome. A promising use case should save meaningful time, improve a decision, reduce preventable errors, or make important information easier to reach. Novelty alone is not a business case.
Data access and quality
Identify the systems, documents, mailboxes, reports, and databases required to answer the question. Review ownership, permissions, retention, completeness, and update frequency.
